    *This is my second “one star” issue with delivery services here – the previous occurred in January 2017 when the driver called at 10am to tell me he would arrive at my house in the next half hour. He did not arrive until 1:30pm (my 4 hour window was 7am-11am). The one star is for the excellent customer service of the floor staff! The poor review reflects what happens once you leave the showroom. For delivery, I asked the delivery customer service for a call-ahead, since my delivery of a couch was to my business and I am only at my business for appointments and cannot sit there all day with small children. They gave me assurance that they would call 1 hour ahead of when they would be there with the couch (they actually gave me an option to have 30 minutes notice or 1 hour notice). On the day of delivery, the delivery driver called and was sitting at my office. He said there was "no note for a call-ahead." When I spoke with customer service, she said that they do not do call-aheads on the first delivery of the day (and I was the 1st one). I was denied to talk to a manager on the phone (transferred to playstation customer service, disconnected, and then just told I could not). I drove to this store to speak with the manage, who agreed that the delivery services were frustrating and that they always have issues with them. Ultimately, her solution was to schedule re-delivery. When I let her know my previous experiences with the 4 hour window not being honored (last January) and asked if we could do a call-ahead she said they “will not do call-aheads.” I brought up that I scheduled a call ahead (and was even given a choice for a 1 hour or 30 min call ahead) and that the driver indicated that if it’s in their notes, they do call ahead and the manager insisted that this was not an option, but that “sometimes they do call ahead.” She then said that since the 4 hour window was “not good enough” for me, I was welcome to rent a truck from Home Depot and pick up the couch myself. She then said there were certain days that I could pick up and when I asked about Sunday she said “we do have pick up available on Sundays, but not this Sunday.” Meanwhile, I halted business operations for the entire day because they may or may not show up when they say they will. The solution is for me to cancel an entire second day of business to do the same thing all over again. She continued to insist that they would give me a 4 hour window (but did not guarantee that they would come during that 4 hour window). No one at the company is accountable for when the delivery happens. Rooms to Go insists that they “have no control” over the deliveries and that they are not responsible for when drivers show up (or even if they show up). Their solution is that “sometimes and maybe” the drivers will call and/or show up when they say they will show up. No one actually does what they say they will do (call ahead, show up in the 4 hour window, etc). Even though Rooms to Go may actually have no control over their deliveries, this is a reflection on them.
